Product Overview

A rubber hand grip for a bicycle needs to suit both the hand and the surrounding handlebar controls. Comfort depends on the fitted profile, usable length, and riding position, while secure retention keeps that profile where the rider expects it. A pleasant loose-part feel cannot establish the result on the bicycle.

Check the handlebar section and the available space beside brake and shift controls. The grip should not force a control out of its intended position or interfere with its movement. End transitions should leave the hand supported without an abrupt pressure point, and the selected attachment must prevent unexpected rotation or sliding.

Evaluate the assembled handlebar before riding, including access to the controls from the normal hand position. Keep the grip surface free of residues that alter contact. During inspection, look for loosening and damage near the ends as well as wear under the palm. If the grip begins to move on the bar, correct the fitted condition before further use rather than trying to compensate by holding it more firmly.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: End transitions should leave the hand supported without an abrupt pressure point, and the selected attachment must prevent unexpected rotation or sliding.
Custom profile & fit
Comfort depends on the fitted profile, usable length, and riding position, while secure retention keeps that profile where the rider expects it.
Assembly considerations
Evaluate the assembled handlebar before riding, including access to the controls from the normal hand position.
Design check
Check the handlebar section and the available space beside brake and shift controls.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
