Product Overview

Bike handle grips should match the handlebar interface and leave the required space around brakes, shifters, bar-end components and other controls. The outer grip can be shaped for the intended hand position, but the retained fit must keep it correctly located on the bar throughout the required operating conditions.

ETOL offers custom sizes, colors and logo features, including engraved and embossed treatments. Hardness options are available to support development of the desired grip feel. Evaluate that feel on the actual handle rather than judging a loose rubber sample, since wall thickness and the underlying support also influence how the grip responds in the hand.

For a bicycle application, use the attachment and retention arrangement specified by the handlebar and grip design. Check that the fitted grip does not crowd an adjacent control or restrict its movement. If a tool handle version is being developed, define that as its own configuration with the appropriate handle geometry and use conditions.

Test the completed grip assembly for the intended handling environment and required retention. A soft surface alone does not establish secure attachment. Keep the contact area clean using a method compatible with the selected compound, and inspect for rotation, tearing or movement at the ends during routine maintenance.

Logo position should be considered with the normal hand contact and mounting orientation. Raised or recessed details need to remain comfortable at the locations where the user grips repeatedly, and should not interfere with the features that locate the grip on the handle.

Material options
Custom silicone formulation and color for the specified shape and working environment.
Hardness range
20–80 Shore A for silicone. Trial hand compression over the actual bar, including raised logo locations; choose a grade that gives the intended feel without crowding brake or shift movement.
Custom profile & fit
Evaluate that feel on the actual handle rather than judging a loose rubber sample, since wall thickness and the underlying support also influence how the grip responds in the hand.
Assembly considerations
The outer grip can be shaped for the intended hand position, but the retained fit must keep it correctly located on the bar throughout the required operating conditions.
Design check
Keep the contact area clean using a method compatible with the selected compound, and inspect for rotation, tearing or movement at the ends during routine maintenance.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
