A cable through wall grommet cushions a lead where it crosses a wall or panel. The profile should account for the depth of the actual passage, including local layers or reinforcement around the opening. Custom size, material and color allow the rubber to suit that construction rather than only the nominal sheet thickness.
Measure the entry where the retaining feature sits and note the space behind the wall. A liner can appear flush at the front while remaining partly trapped within a deeper opening. Check the far side before cables make access difficult. Then route the lead with suitable clearance through the protected passage. If the cable changes direction close to either end, support it so it does not press persistently against one retaining edge. During maintenance, inspect the concealed side after any cable movement. A shift deeper into the wall can leave an exposed edge at the front even while much of the rubber remains inside the opening. Restore the correct seating before using the route again.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The profile should account for the depth of the actual passage, including local layers or reinforcement around the opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
