A rubber cap for chair leg use needs enough internal depth to reach its intended seat. The custom profile should follow the leg end, including any taper or change in section. The base then provides the contact beneath the chair at the required installed height.
Check whether the leg stops against the cap as designed or meets an unintended obstruction. A tip can look fitted from outside while leaving the load concentrated at an internal edge. The mouth should retain around the correct portion of the leg without excessive stretch.
Fit compatible components to the relevant legs and assess the chair on its normal surface. Select the compound for that surface and its cleaning conditions. During care, remove grit from the contact faces and inspect for rocking, movement, or splits. Replace with the matching internal profile and base thickness rather than choosing only by the exposed diameter. This preserves the chair's intended support without packing or modifying the leg connection.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
