Black rubber chair leg caps provide a molded cover over the end of a compatible round leg. Custom sizing allows the internal engagement and floor-facing shape to be adapted to the furniture. The cap should reach its designed seat without relying on excessive stretching around an oversized leg.
Measure the leg at the area enclosed by the cap, including any taper or seam. Check that the inside depth clears the end and allows the base to support the chair as intended. A cap that stops early may appear fitted while leaving the load concentrated in an unsuitable area.
Compare replacement feet across the chair so that base heights remain compatible. After fitting, place the chair on its intended surface and check for rocking or a cap lifting at the edge. Keep debris from collecting underneath, since trapped grit can affect the floor contact. Inspect the mouth for splits if the chair is moved frequently. Replace a loose or damaged cap with the matching profile rather than adding material inside it to force retention.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Compare inside diameter A with the outside of the part being covered. Check inside depth C and overall dimensions B and D for available clearance. These RSE references show a round cap with one closed end.
43 closed-end cap sizes. A is the inside diameter and C is the usable internal depth; B and D describe the outside envelope.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
