Match the attachment and installation method
A neoprene rubber gasket should be developed around the surfaces it seals and the conditions at that joint. EPDM is another custom material option within this range. Select the formulation for the actual medium, temperature and cleaning exposure rather than treating the two material families as equivalent.
Custom dimensions, hardness and color allow the gasket to follow the sealing land. Define the supported width and required thickness so closing force reaches the intended contact area. An unsupported edge can distort even when the gasket appears to cover the joint fully.
Inspect the mating faces for residue and surface damage before fitting. Position the gasket without wrinkles and use the intended closure sequence. Evaluate the complete joint under representative conditions, then inspect for uneven compression or extrusion. During maintenance, identify recurring contact marks that may point to a local gap or alignment problem. A change in material should be assessed with the actual geometry; it should not be used as a substitute for correcting a damaged or poorly supported mating surface.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. An unsupported edge can distort even when the gasket appears to cover the joint fully. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
