A square silicone rubber gasket follows a joint with four sides and defined corner transitions. Its outline can place sealing material around a square opening without filling the central space. Corner shape deserves particular attention because the mating surfaces may have different radii even when their straight side dimensions appear to agree.
Choose thickness and section around the available closing gap. Fasteners positioned near the corners can apply force differently from fasteners spaced along the sides, making even closure an important part of the joint design. Leave adequate sealing width around any bolt holes so positioning errors do not expose a narrow or unsupported strip.
Lay the gasket onto the mating face without pulling the corners outward. Bring the opposite face down squarely and check that the perimeter remains located as the fasteners engage. Silicone selection should match the medium and working temperature; the geometry alone cannot establish suitability. On disassembly, look for corner tears or uneven flattening that may indicate alignment or compression needs to be corrected before the next installation.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
