Compression molded elastomer keypads bring multiple button features together in one rubber component. Their locating features should align with the housing and support structure without requiring the sheet to be stretched into place. Uneven installation tension can change how individual buttons sit in their openings.
Custom silicone dimensions and colors allow the keypad to follow the product layout. Define the relationship between the key centers, perimeter support and internal actuation points as a complete assembly. The molded part should rest in its intended position before the cover applies its final clamping force.
During installation, seat the locating areas in the planned order and inspect the surface for a diagonal pull or folded edge. After tightening the enclosure, compare movement across the keypad rather than checking only the most accessible control. A group of keys rubbing in one direction may indicate that the sheet has shifted. For maintenance, remove the keypad without pulling repeatedly on a single button. Keep the flexible transitions intact and inspect them before the part is returned to the housing.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
