A conductive carbon pill keypad uses a conductive feature beneath the flexible key to interact with the corresponding circuit contact. The silicone button can serve as a power control in a custom interface. The molded button provides the external pressing surface, while the contact placement beneath it must agree with the board layout inside the product.
For a power control, pay attention to the difference between a complete press and a partial touch. The housing should guide the button without holding it in a depressed position. Check the response from an off-center press as well as from the middle, because a tilted key may reach the board differently.
ETOL offers custom keypad manufacture. Define contact resistance, operating travel and switching life for the chosen control assembly, and evaluate the carbon contact together with the circuit and housing.
Handle the underside by its non-contact edges during assembly. Keep oils, loose particles and adhesive away from the conductive area. If the power input becomes intermittent, inspect alignment and mechanical freedom before increasing enclosure pressure, which can preload the key and create a different fault.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
