A conductive rubber keypad turns a press at the molded surface into contact with the electronic switching area beneath it. The custom silicone component can carry a tailored layout, multiple colors and molded logo details. Its underside must remain correctly positioned and clean for the intended contact arrangement to work.
Handle the part by an edge where possible instead of repeatedly touching the conductive faces. Keep loose debris away from the board during fitting, and avoid sliding the keypad across exposed contact areas to find its position. Align it using the designed locating features before the enclosure is closed.
For a new design, evaluate the response of the assembled keys rather than assigning performance from the material hardness alone. ETOL lists choices from 20 to 80 Shore A for this product, giving a range to consider with the molded geometry. Test both deliberate center presses and the less precise presses that occur during ordinary use. If a key responds intermittently, check alignment and trapped contamination before increasing enclosure pressure, which can create further restrictions elsewhere in the pad.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
