This Rubber Grommet Plug offering lists NR, NBR, EPDM and CR as material options for a custom panel component. The intended center detail should be established first: an opening that carries wiring needs a deliberate passage, whereas an unused opening can use a closed plug. The retaining profile around the panel must suit either arrangement.
Choose the compound for the actual environment at the opening, and keep that choice attached to the final geometry. A common color or outline does not make the listed materials equivalent. Match the local wall thickness to the groove and provide room for the flange on both panel faces. During fitting, work around the perimeter so no section remains rolled beneath the cut edge. If a closed opening later needs wiring, use a suitable cable entry rather than cutting an arbitrary slit. Check the replacement in the finished panel with the routed wire supported, because that added movement changes the conditions at the retaining lip.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The intended center detail should be established first: an opening that carries wiring needs a deliberate passage, whereas an unused opening can use a closed plug. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
