A rubber hole stopper plug with a round or oval configuration needs the full outline defined in addition to the associated 8 mm size. An oval profile has separate long and short dimensions and a particular end shape. Those details determine how the plug locates and whether it reaches its intended seat.
Custom material, dimensions, hardness and color options allow the part to follow the receiving opening. Identify what the nominal size describes and coordinate the exposed handling area with the available access. The selected compound should suit the medium and operating conditions.
During fitting, align an oval version before applying pressure and inspect the curved ends for lifting. A round version should seat evenly around its circumference. Avoid using excess force to make a nearby size fit an unsuitable opening. After removal, look for localized cuts or an uneven contact band that indicates an edge or orientation issue. Keep variants clearly identified if several profiles are used in one assembly, since similar visible heads may conceal different retaining geometries.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
