An angled rubber grommet can guide a wire route away from an opening in a defined direction. Its molded bend should be developed with the panel-retaining profile and the internal passage. The angle is useful only when it follows the installed route without twisting the section seated in the panel.
Check the available space on both sides of the opening and the direction of the nearest cable support. The wire should enter and leave the passage naturally rather than being pulled against the inside of the bend. Panel thickness and cutout shape determine the retained portion independently of the angled body.
Remove burrs before fitting and seat the grommet in its intended orientation. Complete the wire route with the required supports, then inspect the panel edge again for lifting. During maintenance, look for rubbing inside the change of direction and recheck the fit after rerouting. A replacement should match the bend, passage, and retaining groove so that the original route is preserved without imposing extra pull on the rubber.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Panel thickness and cutout shape determine the retained portion independently of the angled body. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
