EPDM rubber mounts used beneath a chair need a receiving arrangement that retains them during sitting and repositioning. A mounted foot differs from a sleeve that wraps around a leg, so the fastening and base geometry should follow the chair's intended construction. The rubber contact area must remain below any hard attachment feature.
Select the formulation with the floor finish and cleaning exposure in mind. EPDM does not establish a universal non-marking behavior or a particular vibration reduction. The dimensions should also preserve the installed height across the complete set of chair supports.
Check the chair on a level surface after fitting and inspect that every mount is seated. Remove grit from the underside during routine care. If a mount loosens, review the receiving hardware rather than repeatedly tightening against damaged rubber. Replace deteriorated parts with the intended attachment profile and height so the chair does not begin resting unevenly or expose a fastener to the floor.
