Product Overview

Replacement rubber feet for step ladders should restore the intended contact geometry at the ladder base. This black rubber version can be customized to the rail and mounting arrangement. When an old foot has become flattened or stretched, its current shape is an unreliable guide to the original fit.

Start with the ladder's actual rail dimensions and the specified replacement configuration. Check whether the front and rear positions use different angles or profiles. Compare all support points after installation, because one new foot alongside heavily worn feet can change how the ladder rests on a level floor.

The replacement must stay attached during carrying and unfolding as well as during use. Inspect the leg end for burrs that could cut the new rubber and make sure the foot is fully seated. Do not compensate for damaged metal with a thicker or tighter cap. Keep the underside clean, and follow the ladder's intended operating conditions when assessing stability. Black color is an appearance choice; the relevant fit and compound still need to suit the particular ladder.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: When an old foot has become flattened or stretched, its current shape is an unreliable guide to the original fit.
Custom profile & fit
Check whether the front and rear positions use different angles or profiles.
Assembly considerations

Design check

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
