EPDM rubber anti-vibration products can be shaped as feet or related compliant components within an equipment support arrangement. Their role is determined by the installed geometry and operating movement, rather than by softness alone. A part that feels flexible by hand may respond differently under the equipment's actual weight.
Define the support positions and the movement that needs to be accommodated. Continuous running, startup and shutdown can load the mounting arrangement differently. The equipment should remain stable through these conditions without the rubber being stretched sideways or compressed beyond the intended geometry. Any vibration reduction needs evaluation in that complete setup.
EPDM selection also requires attention to the environment, including contact with substances that may not suit the chosen formulation. During fitting, preserve the intended gap between rigid components and avoid leaving a fastener or bracket as an accidental contact path. Check accessible mounts while servicing the equipment for cracking, permanent deformation and changes in seating that could alter the original support behavior.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
