Product Overview

A silicone rubber bulb pump provides a squeezable body for a hand-operated air arrangement. The bulb, its connecting features and any valves in the finished system need to work together so air follows the intended path as the body is compressed and released. Custom dimensions and material can be selected around that system.

Consider the hand movement needed to compress the bulb and the room available around it. The body should return as intended without being restricted by a nearby housing or a tube pulling at its connection. Connection fit should be assessed with the actual mating parts, including the way they are retained during repeated squeezing.

Evaluate the completed air system for the required response rather than assigning a delivery volume or pressure from the bulb's outer size. If it is intended as a component in medical equipment, the finished device application, material contact and care requirements must be established for that use. The product name alone does not establish a specific clinical function.

Keep the exterior and connections clean using the method appropriate to the evaluated construction. Inspect for splits near connection necks and changes in the body's return after handling. A loose tube connection or deteriorated bulb should be corrected before continued use. Preserve the chosen wall geometry, compound and connecting arrangement when replacing the part so the system retains its evaluated operation.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation, with dimensions and color adapted to the mating component.
Hardness range
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Consider the hand movement needed to compress the bulb and the room available around it.
Custom profile & fit
Evaluate the completed air system for the required response rather than assigning a delivery volume or pressure from the bulb's outer size.
Assembly considerations
Connection fit should be assessed with the actual mating parts, including the way they are retained during repeated squeezing.
Design check
Keep the exterior and connections clean using the method appropriate to the evaluated construction.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
