A rubber seal gasket has two boundaries that can be obscured differently during assembly. The outside edge may remain visible while the inner edge disappears beneath a flange or cover. Checking only the exposed perimeter can therefore miss rubber displaced into the passage.
Plan a way to verify the inner opening before it becomes concealed. Align the gasket with its intended locating features and observe how the adjoining part approaches it. A sideways movement during closure can carry a narrow inner section with the cover even while the outer outline remains apparently centered.
Custom silicone geometry can match the required opening and any nearby clearance features. The selected material should correspond to the actual contents and service conditions. During disassembly, inspect the bore-side contact for folding or local abrasion that may not show on the external edge. If the same section is repeatedly disturbed, review the closure path and internal clearances. Replacing the seal without addressing that movement may leave the next gasket displaced in exactly the same hidden location.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
