For extruded rubber seal washers, the section geometry is a central part of the design. The material and profile need to suit the joint, with the finished dimensions establishing how the component sits between mating parts. Custom manufacture can adapt the shape to the required sealing path.
An oil-contact application should begin with the specific fluid, temperature, and duration of exposure. Select the compound for those conditions, then establish the section thickness and supported width. The production method does not by itself determine whether the finished washer will fit or remain suitable in service.
Check the complete component before installation, including its inner boundary and any transition around the perimeter. It should lie naturally in the seat without needing to be pulled into alignment. Bring the mating parts together using their intended locating features so that the rubber is not displaced sideways. During replacement, compare the working section with the required dimensions rather than relying only on the old part's outside size, which may have changed after sustained compression.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
