A soft rubber seal can be difficult to position in a narrow channel if the handling area is no wider than the working section. The custom design should allow the part to be installed without pinching it between a tool and the channel wall. Access is especially relevant when the seat lies below a surrounding rim.
Review the fitting method with the neighboring parts present. A seat that is easy to reach on an empty housing may become hidden after another component is installed. Where the equipment design allows, the assembly order can provide access without requiring the rubber to be pulled through an obstructed route.
Use the intended locating features to establish position and avoid pressing a sharp tool into the flexible edge. The selected compound must still fit the actual service environment; softness alone does not establish suitability. Before closing the joint, inspect the least accessible portion for a folded section. If removal repeatedly tears that same area, consider whether the service method reaches a suitable handling surface rather than treating the damage as unavoidable.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
