Product Overview

Pneumatic rubber suction cups provide the workpiece contact in a vacuum handling arrangement. The custom molded shape needs to suit the pickup surface and the connection to the pneumatic system. The cup is one element in a cycle that includes approach, vacuum establishment, movement, and release.

Check the surface the lip will meet and the clearance available around it. The cup must contact the intended area without bridging a seam or being obstructed by a nearby feature. The selected compound should suit the workpiece and any temperature or contamination at the pickup point.

Evaluate the timing and movement with the complete system. Vacuum needs to reach the required condition before the workpiece is moved, and release must occur in the intended position. Load, orientation, acceleration, and leakage affect the arrangement, so cup dimensions alone do not establish capacity. Inspect the lip and attachment regularly for damage or looseness. If the workpiece changes, reassess the contact and operating cycle rather than assuming that a cup suited to the previous surface will perform identically.

Material options
Rubber compound options, customized alongside the profile and contact conditions.
Hardness selection
Solid rubber options: 30–90 Shore A. Evaluate the timing and movement with the complete system.
Custom geometry
Check the surface the lip will meet and the clearance available around it.
Fit evaluation
Inspect the lip and attachment regularly for damage or looseness.
Color & OEM
Custom colors; OEM markings outside the suction contact face.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
