A single button made in silicone rubber can provide the user contact for a membrane keyboard or control assembly. Although the layout contains only one operating position, the cap, flexible section, and membrane contact still need accurate alignment. There are fewer neighboring keys to reveal a positioning error, so the locating features carry particular importance.
Match the actuator underside to the selected switching arrangement and establish how the enclosure restrains the part. The visible cap should move through its opening without rubbing, while the stationary portion remains securely supported. Any spacer or overlay in the membrane assembly changes the working height and should be included in fit evaluation.
Test presses at the center and near the edges after the housing is fully assembled. Check for reliable release and unintended preload on the membrane. The molded button alone does not establish the electrical or environmental performance of the complete control. During servicing, protect the membrane layers from creasing and restore the actuator's original orientation and support rather than simply centering its top in the panel opening.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
