Rubber chair feet protectors for stools need to retain the orientation that gives their bases the intended floor contact. On an angled leg, a protector may fit around the tube yet rotate enough to rest differently on the floor. The internal locating profile and the outside base should be considered together.
Inspect the fitted stool in its normal standing position. Check whether the contact is distributed as intended and whether lifting or moving the stool changes the protector's orientation. A repeated tendency to turn can indicate a fit problem even if the part does not fall off the leg.
Remove sharp material from the leg end before installation and use a profile matched to that leg. Packing the opening with an improvised insert can change seating depth without resolving the original geometry. During care, compare wear around the base; a narrow worn edge can help identify contact in the wrong orientation. Replace a damaged protector with the correct height and shape so that restoring one leg does not introduce rocking across the complete support set.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
