Silicone conductive push buttons combine a flexible pressing surface with contact features for a defined circuit arrangement. In a control intended to resist water entry, the body and its seating must work with the surrounding enclosure. Conductive contact and water exclusion are different requirements that need coordinated design.
Check the contact location, rest gap and perimeter fit with the actual housing and board. A button can register electrically while leaving an unsuitable entry path at its edge, or appear well sealed while being held partly pressed by the enclosure. Neither result should be judged from the loose rubber part alone.
Evaluate the assembled device for both input behavior and its intended ingress conditions. No waterproof rating follows solely from the silicone material. During servicing, keep the conductive area and seating surfaces clean, and inspect for damage before refitting. Restore the original locating relationship so the button returns fully after a press and its surrounding contact remains in the position required by the enclosure design.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
