Match the attachment and installation method
A custom silicone rubber keypad should be defined as a complete interface configuration, including its molded layout, underside contacts and relationship to the enclosure. Those details determine how the component fits and operates, while the visible color and key shapes provide only part of the specification.
Develop the geometry using the actual panel and switching arrangement. Identify the environmental exposure and any enclosure sealing requirements before selecting the formulation and retained perimeter. A waterproof description does not establish an ingress rating independently of the finished device.
Evaluate representative input sequences after the panel is fully assembled and assess any exposure requirements in that condition. Check that fastening does not trap a moving key edge. During production and replacement, keep the selected layout and material identified together so a similar-looking version is not mixed with another panel's parts. Inspect changes to the housing or contact stack before assuming the original keypad remains compatible with a revised assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. Develop the geometry using the actual panel and switching arrangement. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
