Silicone cutting boards rubber feet create contact points beneath a board while leaving an underside that still needs cleaning. The custom foot and its attachment should be developed so residue can be removed around the mounting area. A secure-looking support can conceal deposits where its edge meets the board.
Consider the board's actual washing and drying routine. The chosen silicone and retention method must be appropriate to that process; a rubber foot suitable for a dry contact may require a different attachment for repeated washing. Follow the finished board's care instructions rather than applying an unassessed cleaner to the mounting region.
After cleaning, inspect the perimeter of each foot and check that it has returned to its intended seated position. A partly detached edge can trap residue and change the contact height at that corner. Keep the counter and lower faces clean before use. Replace a damaged support with the board's matching configuration and examine its mounting area first, so a failing attachment is not simply covered by a larger pad.

FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
