A blanking rubber door grommet closes an unused opening with a retained rubber body. The fit needs to suit the door panel and remain undisturbed as the surrounding assembly opens, closes or flexes in its intended use. Custom size, material and color can be selected for that location.
Check the space behind the blank before installation. A linkage, cable or inner panel should not strike the closed center during movement. Match the retaining region to the local wall and confirm that both sides of the flange seat without a folded section. Then move the door through its normal range and inspect for contact marks or displacement. During service, remove debris from the seating area before refitting the cover. If the opening will later carry wiring or hardware, replace the blank with a component designed for that purpose rather than cutting a casual hole through it. A damaged retaining lip should be renewed after checking whether surrounding movement caused the damage.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A linkage, cable or inner panel should not strike the closed center during movement. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
