A silicone rubber protective bushing or EPDM version should be selected for the conditions at its specific interface. The covered component, surrounding housing and exposure determine the appropriate compound. Similar dimensions do not make the two materials interchangeable in every application.
Custom geometry, hardness and color allow the bushing to match the receiving seat. Define the internal passage and outside engagement separately, then evaluate how compression in the seat affects the protected component. A close outside fit can reduce the bore clearance once the rubber is installed.
Check representative assemblies using the selected formulation. Inspect for folding, excessive squeezing or a lip that fails to reach its intended position. The mounting should keep the bushing located without forcing it to absorb an unplanned alignment error. During maintenance, look for changes in fit after exposure and keep replacement material variants identified clearly. If the environment changes, reassess the compound and installed geometry together before continuing with a part chosen only by its previous appearance.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
