Flat car bushings provide a relatively low-profile compliant section within an automotive assembly. Their installed thickness forms part of the joint spacing, so the receiving geometry and fastening arrangement must guide the selection. Matching the outside outline while changing thickness can alter alignment elsewhere in the assembly.
Identify the faces intended to contact the rubber and the features that control its position. A flat form may have little space to accommodate a misplaced washer, shoulder or bracket edge. The selected silicone formulation and geometry require evaluation for the specific automotive duty; the product description alone does not establish a vehicle fitment or load capability.
Assemble according to the requirements of the particular component, preserving the planned orientation and spacing. Inspect for rubber squeezed unevenly from the joint or hardware contacting a surface it should clear. During replacement, compare the original seating features as well as nominal dimensions. A flatter appearance caused by service deformation should not be mistaken for the correct new-part thickness.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
