Silicone rubber isolator bushings provide a compliant section around a mounting feature. Their geometry can separate adjoining rigid parts while allowing the movement intended by the assembly. The radial fit, end faces and clamping arrangement all contribute to how the installed bushing responds.
Start with the receiving bore and the central component that passes through it. If both interfaces are squeezed heavily, the rubber may have little room to deform in the desired direction. An internal sleeve or other rigid feature, where part of the design, must maintain its planned relationship to the rubber instead of creating unintended contact elsewhere.
Check the installed assembly for alignment before evaluating its movement. Silicone and a flexible shape do not by themselves establish a vibration reduction or load rating. Test the supported equipment under its actual operating conditions. When dismantling, avoid pulling one flange through a sharp opening. Inspect the bore and flange roots for local wear that could allow the mounting feature to shift from its intended position.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
