A rubber compression bushing provides a deformable interface within a matching shock-related mounting assembly. Its behavior depends on how much space the installation leaves for the rubber and how the adjoining parts apply compression. The black color does not identify a particular compound, hardness or supported load.
Compare the free dimensions with the intended installed geometry, including any sleeves, washers or shoulders. These rigid features can determine where compression stops and how the bushing remains located. Excessive squeeze may displace rubber into a gap rather than improve the joint's function.
The correct assembly conditions are specific to the mounting design. Avoid substituting a bushing solely because it enters the same hole. After installation, inspect for uneven extrusion and contact with sharp hardware. During maintenance, a permanently flattened shape should be distinguished from the intended new-part profile. Preserve the specified geometry when replacing the bushing so the surrounding joint does not acquire a different gap or an unintended rigid contact path.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
