Product Overview

A rubber washer with metal combines a compliant portion with a rigid feature for a specific mounting arrangement. The metal's location matters: it may interact with a fastener or supporting face differently from the surrounding rubber. The complete cross-section should guide selection, rather than treating the component as an ordinary rubber ring.

Identify which face belongs against the equipment and how the fastener bears on the part. Reversing an asymmetric washer can change the clamping relationship or leave an intended rubber interface bypassed by direct metal contact. The mounting opening also needs to provide the planned clearance for any projecting insert.

During tightening, watch for rubber being trapped under a metal edge or pulled out of its seated position. Added clamping force is not a remedy for an incorrect stack of parts. If the washer serves as a bumper foot, assess the actual contact area beneath the device. Inspect the junction between metal and rubber during service, especially where movement or corrosion could undermine the intended assembly.

Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: The metal's location matters: it may interact with a fastener or supporting face differently from the surrounding rubber.

Rubber Feet Size Catalog

Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.

Recessed Rubber Feet

12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
