Rubber feet with washer combine a flexible floor contact with a washer associated with the fixing area. The washer helps distribute fastening force locally, but its presence does not determine the load capacity of the complete foot or furniture. The fastener, leg end, rubber profile, and supporting floor all contribute to the installed behavior.
When fitting feet to metal furniture legs, establish the fastening position and available engagement before selecting a screw. A fixing that bottoms out can appear tight without holding the foot properly. Conversely, excessive tightening can distort the rubber and change the area that rests on the floor. The washer should sit as intended without exposing a hard edge at the contact surface.
Check the furniture on a level surface after fitting the full set. Unequal compression or different seating depths can introduce rocking even when every foot is individually secure. Lift the furniture for relocation when practical, since dragging places sideways force on the fixing and can trap abrasive debris underneath. Inspect the feet for wear that could bring metal hardware into contact with the floor.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The fastener, leg end, rubber profile, and supporting floor all contribute to the installed behavior. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose hemispherical, tapered or recessed rubber feet and compare the mounting dimensions. All values are in millimeters. Use the drawing labels for each product; a dash marks a dimension not supplied in the source.
12 sizes for recessed rubber feet, including flat and rounded bases. The Base column identifies the lower-edge style. C is recess depth; the appearance rendering shows a rounded-base example.
