Match the attachment and installation method
An EPDM rubber seal should be selected for the actual medium and temperature at its joint, while a silicone gasket configuration requires its own material assessment. The two can share a custom outline without sharing the same service suitability. Keep the selected compound identified alongside the geometry so replacement preserves the intended configuration.
Check the mating faces, local sealing width, and available compression. The gasket should follow locating features naturally and remain supported around openings. Include cleaning substances and any movement that changes the contact in the material and joint assessment.
Install flat on clean surfaces without stretching the perimeter. Inspect for folds or an edge displaced as the faces close. During service, compare changes in rubber condition with the actual exposure and inspect local cuts against the hardware. A compound substitution should not be used as a general response to damage caused by a sharp seat or an unsupported gap that needs correction in the assembly.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The gasket should follow locating features naturally and remain supported around openings. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
