An EPDM rubber seal ring should be chosen for the medium and temperature of its intended joint, while a silicone gasket version needs its own material and geometry selection. A ring and a flat gasket can occupy similar overall areas but create different contact sections. The surrounding groove or mating face determines which format belongs in the assembly.
Check the section dimensions, supported sealing width, and closing gap. Include any movement or pressure direction that changes how the rubber is loaded. Keep the selected compound identified so replacement does not rely on a similar color or visible outline.
Install on clean surfaces and preserve the part's natural shape while aligning it. Inspect for twisting in a ring or a folded edge in a flat gasket before closure. During service, compare the wear pattern with the mating hardware. Correct a sharp feature or unsupported region rather than choosing extra thickness that changes the closing condition across other parts of the joint.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
