A square silicone sealing gasket should align at all four corners before the mating faces close. The corner radii and side lengths need to follow the actual joint, since stretching one corner into position can distort the opposite side. The contact band should remain supported around the full outline.
Choose thickness around the closing gap and check the locations of fasteners or retaining features. Select the silicone formulation for the actual medium, temperature, and cleaning process. The assembly should apply the intended compression without forcing the gasket to correct an uneven face.
Lay the part flat and bring the opposing surface down squarely. Inspect for trapped corners and material displaced into the central opening. During disassembly, compare compression at the corners with that along the sides. If contact is uneven, review the closing arrangement and surface support before replacement rather than adding thickness across the whole gasket and changing the contact at regions that were already correctly compressed.

Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
