An oval cable wire silicone rubber grommet gives a harness a shaped passage through an elongated opening. Its long axis should correspond with the intended arrangement of the wires rather than being rotated merely to make an external flange look aligned.
ETOL can customize dimensions, material, hardness and color. Compare the cutout's curved ends and overall proportions with the retained profile. Then assess the bundle in its finished wrapped shape, allowing the passage to protect its broad and narrow regions without trapping individual leads beneath the rim.
Seat the oval perimeter and inspect both ends before routing the harness. After its clips are secured, check whether the bundle has shifted toward one end of the opening. Adjust the route if that movement lifts the opposite lip. During maintenance, keep the harness supported before releasing its fixings so its weight does not distort the oval seat. Inspect the groove where straight and curved regions meet, and replace a torn part rather than rotating the damage to a less visible side of the entry.
