Match the attachment and installation method
Custom rubber gaskets can be cut or molded to match a flat sealing location. The outline, openings and thickness should be based on the mating joint, not only the shape of a removed gasket that may have deformed in service. The selected rubber must also suit the medium and thermal conditions at that specific location.
For an exhaust-related application, establish the actual joint exposure before choosing an elastomer construction. The application label does not establish direct hot-gas suitability. Match the supporting faces and keep the gasket within their intended contact area, including around corners and fastening points. Fit it without stretching to align holes, then assess the completed joint under its operating conditions. During disassembly, inspect for portions pushed outside the support, hardening or a cut from a rough face. Clear old material before installing the replacement so it does not sit on an uneven layer. If the same area fails repeatedly, review the joint support and exposure rather than simply increasing gasket thickness.

Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
