Match the attachment and installation method
A custom silicone cap can be produced in different colors while retaining a profile developed for the covered component. Color may support identification or match the surrounding finish, but the cavity and engagement details remain the basis of the fit. Similar colored covers should still be checked against their intended mating parts.
If several versions are used in one assembly, keep each color linked to a defined size and function. Avoid relying on appearance alone when two caps have only a small dimensional difference. The selected pigment and material should also remain consistent with the intended use of the finished part. Trial the cap on the actual component and confirm that its rim seats evenly. During routine handling, clean the inside before refitting and inspect any thin edge that is stretched during removal. When replacing the cap, match the functional version first and the color second, so a convenient visual substitute does not create an overly loose or excessively tight closure.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. Color may support identification or match the surrounding finish, but the cavity and engagement details remain the basis of the fit. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
