A silicone watch strap band bends repeatedly around its fastening region during normal wearing and removal. The custom adjustment geometry should provide usable positions without leaving a thin or awkwardly bent section at the setting most often used. The strap needs evaluation as worn rather than only when laid straight.
Check how the closure enters and leaves each representative adjustment position. The user should be able to fasten the band without pulling a small edge sideways or forcing the silicone around an abrupt corner in the hardware. The remaining free section should stay practical without crowding the fastening action.
