Product Overview

Silicone thin rubber bands provide a flexible loop whose dimensions and printed appearance can be customized for an intended use. The thin section needs sufficient width and continuity for the planned stretching, particularly around any shaped or marked area. A slim appearance does not establish a specific tension capacity.

Choose the relaxed size around how the band will be fitted and removed. Excessive stretch over a large object can load a narrow section differently from the normal resting arrangement. Printed details should remain suitable for the material's movement and readable at the finished size rather than judged from enlarged artwork.

Evaluate the completed band in its actual application. The silicone formulation must suit contact and cleaning conditions, without an assumed lifetime from the material name. Keep the band away from sharp edges that can start a tear. During reuse, inspect for cuts and permanent elongation, and replace a damaged band before continued stretching carries a small defect through the remaining thin section.

Material options
Custom silicone or rubber formulation, with dimensions and color adapted to the mating component.
Hardness range
Silicone: 20–80 Shore A; rubber: 30–90 Shore A. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Excessive stretch over a large object can load a narrow section differently from the normal resting arrangement.
Custom profile & fit
Choose the relaxed size around how the band will be fitted and removed.
Assembly considerations
Keep the band away from sharp edges that can start a tear.
Design check
Evaluate the completed band in its actual application.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
