Custom silicone rubber prototype key buttons provide a physical way to assess an equipment control layout. The prototype should be fitted with the intended enclosure and internal supports so that access, travel, and alignment can be judged together. A loose button's feel may not represent the final assembled control.
Start with the operator's actual approach. Panel height, nearby equipment, and the distance between controls can affect which surface is easy to reach. Press the prototype at those natural contact points and observe whether it moves without catching. The key should meet the intended switch position and return freely after release.
The custom geometry can be revised around a specific issue revealed by that assessment. A change to key height may improve access but also change the resting gap or exposed projection, so review the connected effects in the assembly. During repeated fitting, protect thin edges and keep the underside clean. Prototype evaluation informs the physical design; it does not by itself establish finished operating life or environmental protection.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
