A stopper with small hole geometry needs an assembly sequence compatible with the component passing through it. An enlarged fitting or connector may not pass through the intended working bore, even though the narrower tube section fits correctly once assembled. That constraint should be resolved before the closure profile is finalized.
Consider whether the stopper is fitted onto the tube before another end component is attached, or whether the selected design provides another suitable assembly route. Avoid forcing the small passage over an oversized feature, which can damage the inner contact or stretch the stopper body unevenly.
Evaluate the chosen sequence on the actual parts and confirm that the outer stopper still reaches its intended seat. The tube should leave the closure without imposing an immediate sideways pull that changes its position. The selected formulation and complete interfaces determine any sealing requirement. During service, preserve the original assembly route rather than slitting or enlarging the hole to simplify removal; that changes the working profile and may prevent the replacement from reproducing the intended contact.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. An enlarged fitting or connector may not pass through the intended working bore, even though the narrower tube section fits correctly once assembled. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
