Product Overview

A rubber damper with M4 screw provides a compact threaded attachment for a custom buffering or support element. The M4 designation identifies the nominal fastening size; the rubber shape and material are selected separately for the application. The connection must have enough usable engagement within the actual mounting arrangement.

Account for the thickness of the receiving bracket and any fitted hardware when checking screw length. A connection that appears long enough before assembly may leave less engagement once those parts are added. Conversely, a screw can reach the bottom of a blind opening before the intended seating surfaces meet. Confirm the matching thread and available depth before tightening.

The rubber should stay in its intended orientation as the metal connection is secured. Avoid turning the flexible body to compensate for a mounting hole that is out of position. The working face then needs evaluation under the actual contact or support load. During routine inspection, check the small fastening point for movement as well as the rubber body for wear or distortion.

Material options
Custom rubber compound and color, selected for the contact conditions and required geometry.
Hardness range
30–90 Shore A for rubber. Assess the grade against this fit requirement: Avoid turning the flexible body to compensate for a mounting hole that is out of position.

Ordering this custom component

Can the shape be adjusted to my mating parts?

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.

Which details should be agreed before tooling?

Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.

Can a sample help define the replacement?

A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.

How is the quotation for this part determined?

The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
