A thin rubber gasket fits a limited gap between mating surfaces. Its outline may take the form of a washer or another ring, with dimensions and compound selected for the joint. Thin sections need careful handling because a small fold can occupy a significant part of the available closed space.
Lay the gasket on a clean supporting face and check that it has not doubled back near an opening. Align it using the intended locating features instead of pulling a narrow side into position. The mating surface should support the rubber where compression will occur.
Choose the formulation for the actual media and temperatures, and assess the joint at its intended closed thickness. During assembly, avoid dragging the second face across the gasket. Inspect accessible edges before applying full fastening force. When replacing a used part, do not stack several thin rings to imitate a different thickness unless that arrangement belongs to the design. Restore the specified single profile so the sealing or cushioning contact remains predictable around the entire joint.

Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
