Carbon pucks provide conductive contact regions within a compatible silicone keypad design. A clear or transparent keypad body can be customized around those regions, allowing the visible rubber and the switching interface to be developed together. The clear appearance applies to the selected silicone construction, while the contact features have their own electrical role.
Position each puck according to the board contact and intended key movement. The supporting rubber should return the key freely after the contact is released. Compare operation from different points on the key top, especially where a large face can tilt during pressing.
Review the assembled appearance if the body remains visible in the finished control. Internal contact features and board colors can show through clear silicone and should be considered during layout design. Keep the visible surfaces clean as well as protecting the underside from contamination. During assembly checks, verify alignment after the housing is secured. Avoid altering the pucks with unapproved surface treatments to compensate for an inconsistent key; correct the mechanical fit and contact relationship that the keypad is intended to use.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
