A rubber desk cable grommet gives a cable opening a flexible liner where leads pass through a desktop or furniture panel. The custom profile should suit the panel thickness and leave space for the cables and connectors used at the workstation. Its visible edge can also be colored to coordinate with the surrounding finish.
Check the cable arrangement on both sides of the desk. A power adapter or connector may be larger than the cable it serves, so plan whether it passes through before the liner is seated. Beneath the desk, leave enough slack to reach the next support without pulling the grommet sideways.
For an adjustable workstation, review the cable route through the actual desk movement before securing it. The entry should not become a point where a short cable is stretched as the surface rises. Custom dimensions and material can be selected for the intended arrangement.
Keep the desk cutout smooth and the flange area clear of debris during fitting. After equipment is rearranged, check that the new cable positions have not lifted a section of the rubber. Clean loose dust around the entry without pushing it down between the cable and liner. Replace a damaged edge before it leaves the furniture cutout exposed to repeated cable movement.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. The custom profile should suit the panel thickness and leave space for the cables and connectors used at the workstation. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
