Non-standard silicone rubber wire grommets provide custom protection at a wiring passage. Their molded geometry follows the opening and cable arrangement, while color and marking options can help identify the selected version. The silicone formulation should be defined alongside the dimensions so the finished component matches its intended equipment.
Begin with the cutout, panel thickness and completed wire profile. These establish the mechanical fit. Then select the compound and any compliance requirements relevant to the product, evaluating the specific formulation rather than transferring properties from another grommet with a similar appearance.
Check the installed wire route before finalizing the retaining profile. A bundle pulled to one side can distort a nonstandard lip even when the nominal dimensions agree. Fit the part on a clean edge and inspect after the wiring is secured. Keep replacement variants clearly distinguishable during service, particularly if several versions share one color. A changed compound, passage or locating detail should be treated as a component change rather than assumed equivalent because it occupies the same general opening.
Photos illustrate structure or material only. A changed compound, passage or locating detail should be treated as a component change rather than assumed equivalent because it occupies the same general opening. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
