An Elastomer silicone button with a carbon pill provides a flexible pressing surface and an underside contact feature. The pill needs to approach the corresponding electronic contact in the intended orientation. A custom button outline should therefore be considered together with the shape and movement of the rubber below it.
A wide or unevenly pressed key can tilt as it moves. During evaluation, press different parts of the usable top surface and check that the button returns freely afterward. The surrounding housing should guide the intended movement without rubbing against the key or holding one edge lower than the other.
Custom dimensions, colors and molded identification are available, with a listed hardness range of 20 to 80 Shore A. Use those options to develop the complete button, rather than treating hardness as a direct substitute for the desired operating feel. Keep the carbon pill face away from abrasive surfaces while handling the part. If the assembled response changes after enclosure closure, examine board support and rubber seating before altering the contact or trimming the molded body.

Identify key dimensions, mating surfaces and quantity
Agree the compound and manufacturing approach
Review the fit and agreed requirements in the assembly
Manufacture and check against the approved requirements
Identify temperature, contact fluids and repeated movement.
Consider hardness together with wall thickness and support.
Check access, mating dimensions and the fitting sequence.
Yes. Show the receiving opening, contact surfaces and clearance limits. We can review the dimensions and retaining features around the intended fit.
Agree the critical dimensions, material, hardness, visible surfaces and sample requirements. Explain how the part is installed and which interfaces control its function.
A sample can help explain the structure. Compare it with the assembly because wear, swelling or compression may have changed its original dimensions.
The material, part geometry, tooling, quantity and finishing affect the quotation. Include the intended batch size and delivery destination when describing your requirements.
