Selected for the contact, temperature and movement
Define the visible surfaces and intended color
Develop holes, lips and walls around the mating parts
Match the attachment and installation method
Custom silicone rubber hole plugs should match the functional surface inside or behind the opening. The inserted section, retaining feature, and usable depth determine how the closure stays seated. The visible face can then be shaped for the surrounding assembly and required handling.
Check the hole over its working depth and the available space behind it. A nearby component can prevent the retained section from settling even when the entrance dimension is correct. The exposed portion should remain accessible if the opening will be used during maintenance.
Choose the compound for the actual contents and temperature. Fit the plug squarely on a clean opening and inspect for incomplete seating. During care, check the engaged region for cuts or lasting deformation and keep removed variants separated if their sizes are similar. Replace with the matching complete profile rather than choosing only by the visible face or driving a worn stopper farther into the hole to recover its fit.
Photos illustrate structure or material appearance only. The inserted section, retaining feature, and usable depth determine how the closure stays seated. ETOL directly manufactures custom-shaped silicone and rubber parts to your requirements.
FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Choose a blind-hole, tapered, undercut or solid T-shaped profile, then compare its dimensions with the opening and available seating depth. Each profile has its own drawing and dimension meanings.
155 T-shaped plug sizes. Match shank diameter A, head diameter B, shank length C and head thickness D. E is the bottom blind-hole diameter; E = 0 indicates a solid shank.
